BIG BEND RETREAT

MARCH 28 - 31, 2026

Adventure • Hiking • Nature • Personal Empowerment

Join us on a transformational 4-day / 3-night women's hiking retreat as we explore the mountains and desert of Far West Texas. Alongside an intimate and supportive group of growth-oriented women, we'll embark on two days of exhilarating exploration and hiking through Big Bend National Park.

Each day we will engage in guided self-care practices like meditation, mindful movement and sound healing, and spend our evenings reflecting, rejuvenating, dining under sunset, and stargazing under some of the darkest night skies in the lower 48-states.

FAQS

Where will we be staying?

We'll be staying in a beautiful and historically restored boutique hotel overlooking the ghost town of Terlingua, Texas. We have both shared and private accommodations with multiple bathrooms, an outdoor kitchen, and views galore from multiple patios and terraces.

How do I get there?

West Texas is remote, and getting there is half the fun! You are responsible for getting yourself to and from Terlingua, TX. We'll meet at 3:30PM on Saturday at our accommodations. Terlingua is ~8 hours by car from Austin and ~5 hours from El Paso. There are various towns and beautiful scenery to take in along the drive. If you plan on flying, El Paso International Airport is the closest major airport.

What time does the retreat start and end? Can I come for only part of it?

We will meet in Terlingua at 3:30PM Saturday to settle in, have our opening circle and enjoy a beautiful sunset dinner together. The retreat will wrap up at 10:00AM on Tuesday. This retreat is an immersive experience and we ask that all guests attend the entire experience; we do not allow partial visits.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Yes, in most cases we can! Prior to the retreat, you'll complete an intake form. In the intake form, please let us know of any dietary restrictions & allergies that we should be aware of.

Can pets come?

Although we love pets, they won't be able to attend this one! Please leave your furry friends at home :)

Who is the retreat for?

If you have an adventurous spirit and a love for hiking and exploring... this retreat is for you!  We welcome women of all walks of life and all stages of life. While we require everyone to be 21+, we have no other age restrictions. Core to our ethos is that women have a tremendous amount to learn from one another, and sharing knowledge across life stages and experiences is integral to our collective growth. This diversity in background is what makes our groups so special.

What level of fitness and experience is required?

We have two days of moderately strenuous hiking in the national park. You should be comfortable hiking up to 8 miles per day with elevation gains up to 2,000 feet with your day pack. Parts of Big Bend National Park reach an elevation of 7,000+ feet. The terrain in the park is rugged and rocky in places. We recommend a regular fitness training routine and practice hiking with your pack in the weeks leading up to the retreat. If you have any questions about your ability to participate, please reach out to Coleen.

What should I pack?

In the weeks leading up to the retreat, we will send an email with gear you'll need and packing information. The weather in March typically sees highs in the 70's-80's and lows in the 40's-50's. Pack for 5+ miles of hiking per day and casual mountain / desert living!

What If I need to cancel?

Retreat deposits are non-refundable due to the detailed planning of this experience. Final payment is due December 19th, 2025. We do not offer any refunds after December 19th, 2025. For this reason, we highly recommend purchasing third-party travel insurance. You can review our Terms & Conditions here.
